Ross Wilson

Ross Wilson is one of Ireland’s leading artists and sculptors. He has been a guest speaker at Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Wilson’s many portrait commissions include Nobel Laureates Seamus Heaney and Derek Walcott for the National Portrait Gallery, London. He is also the creator of the C.S. Lewis Centenary Sculpture ‘The Searcher’ located in East Belfast. In 2019 he received a BEM from Queen Elizabeth for outreach work amongst underprivileged communities in Northern Ireland.
