Join Our Volunteer Family!
Volunteers play a major part of the Sing! Conference every year – they are the heartbeat of all that we do!
Our Volunteers are passionate about God’s purpose, with a kingdom mindset, and heart to see attendees’ lives changed by the truth they encounter at the conference. Serving alongside The Getty’s is a great way to get involved and make new friends while having fun.
Volunteers are asked to help with a wide range of things; and while most of our jobs will require walking, lifting, carrying, opening & packing boxes, standing (for long periods of time), helping with inventory, there is a job for everyone!
For Sing! 2025 we will need help from August 31st, through afternoon of Wednesday, September 3rd.
Once you register your interest, you will be part of the Sing! Volunteer Online Community, where we will be posting updates throughout the year – and help you to meet other volunteers before you come to the Sing! Conference in 2025!

Volunteer Testimonial
“Thank you for allowing us to be part of the Volunteer group in Nashville these past few days. What a joy it was for both of us. I feel that we have been blessed/spoiled beyond comprehension. We came home late last night but woke up singing this morning and having many sweet memories of our time together!” George and Sylvia Prins

We are grateful for any time you can give, but we find that most people sign up for 1 or 2 shifts per day. Our volunteer sessions are in early planning stages, but will be roughly 4 hours in length.
SingGlobal.com is the Home of the Sing Conference Online—it is where you can access all past talks from the conference, or you can buy a ticket to the conference.
Children age of 13-17 can volunteer, as long as their parent or guardian sign the waiver allowing their minor child to volunteer. For children under the age of 16, we recommend you select the same shifts so you work together at the same time and in the same capacity.
– You will meet an amazing group of like-minded servant hearted believers. The community of volunteers that have volunteer multiple years in a row is growing.
– You do not need to buy a ticket to the conference, but you can see the main Plenary Session, depending on your shifts selection. You will also have access to SingGlobal.com content after the conference to enjoy this year’s conference as well as past conferences.

No. We do not cover any of those expenses.
At the Opryland Hotel, everything is under one roof, and you can easily get to your room between shifts. You can get a savings of $200+/night at the Opryland Resort by using our group rate, at this link: getty.pub/hotel
Volunteer registration will begin at 11 am on Sunday August 31. You will print your volunteer badge (or attendee badge if you are a ticket holder.) At 1 pm August 31, there will be a Volunteer Commissioning service just for the Volunteers. Attendee registration opens at 3 pm on Sunday Aug 31.
The Volunteers have a Volunteer Desk in the Delta Ballroom Lobby. Follow hotel signs to the Delta Island, and then the signage to the SING! Conference. Heather & Deanna are your volunteer coordinators.
Yes, comfortable walking/standing shoes! We do a lot of that. You will also get a RED Volunteer t-shirt. We recommend that you wear that t-shirt OVER another shirt so that you can remove the Red shirt when you have finished your shift.
Visit our Travel Page for more details. If you are flying into town and staying at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, you do not need a car. All conference events are held at the Opryland Hotel and a short walk away at the Grand Ole Opry House for the Monday night concert. The Gaylord Opryland is a 15-minute Uber/Lyft/taxi ride from the airport and a 15-minute ride (depending on time of day) to downtown Nashville if you want to explore the city.
Yes, the Nashville KOA Resort is a short 5 minute ride away.
We recommend you carry as little with you as possible during your shift. We will be able to store (at your own risk) jackets or water bottles at the Volunteer Desk. Women, consider a hands free crossbody bag for your phone and essentials. You will need your phone for your shifts, and for communication with the volunteer team.
Most shifts are around 4.5 hours. Each team (Registration, Delta Ballroom, Wayfinders, Sing Village, Merchandise, Resource, and Breakouts) all have varied schedules depending on programming.
If you really want to be able to attend specific breakout sessions, we recommend you purchase a ticket. Volunteers are not able to select a breakout session to attend. The Breakout Session in the Delta Ballroom is the only breakout session volunteers can attend.
Yes, we’d love to have you! Please note on your profile any accessibility challenges you may have. Do keep in mind that most of our volunteer positions do require quite a bit of mobility, walking and standing. If lifting is an issue for you, you’ll want to make a selection for something other than the Merchandise team.
