Nathan Burggraff

Nathan Burggraff serves as associate professor of music theory and director of the piano department at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music (M.M., M.A., Ph.D.), Nathan has focused his research on examining the impact of musical and cultural changes on congregational singing and has published articles in Artistic Theologian and the Southwestern Journal of Theology. He has also produced two solo sacred piano albums: “Hymns & Prayers” and “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.” When he is not in the classroom, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife Diana and their five boys.
